Snow in SC!

I hear this is the biggest snow storm in 20 years in the South Carolina. I think we are under 6 inches of snow now with lots more to come this evening and tonight. We ventured out for a bit to check it out. This is the first time Caleb has ever been interested in playing outside. We have big snowman plans for after his nap today with a carrot nose and top hat! Of course we have neither! Bailey is also one happy dog, even though he looks a little scary in this picture!

Taking it all in

Father-son snow angels!

A snow day is not complete without hot chocolate and marshmallows. Caleb was the official marshmallow man, eating 90% of them!

Merry Christmas 2010!

For the Holidays we headed to "sunny" Florida for a few days. It was a great time staying with Brother and sis-in-law and the neices. Caleb followed Addie around, enjoying playing with all of her toys (which is mostly princess gear). Before leaving though we had to make sure Bailey wouldn't miss us too bad, so he had a new rawhide to work on!

Christmas morning, the kids realize Santa came!!!

My only picture of the 3 cousins. I think we were too busy chasing them and laughing to get many pics!

More costumes back at home. Police/Fireman/sword fighter combo

Visit To Santa Dec 19th

We went to Roper Mountain to see the Christmas lights, and of course visit with Santa!! Caleb could hardly contain his excitement as we waited in line!

While on Santa's lap, Caleb asked for all of the characters from the Cars movie (Lighting McQueen, Doc, Mater, Sally, ect...) This is the first we have heard of this, with only 4 days left until Christmas!
I think the candy cane was also a highlight. We immediately had to go home and get him in the tub. Even his hair got sticky!

Happy Birthday Caleb!!!

Wow three years old!!! Its gone by so fast. For his birthday we went to a jumpy place with his best friend Connor as well as our adopted family Troy, his gf Serene, and Jordan.
It was hard to tell if the adults or kids had more fun.

Caleb and Connor!

What a big boy!

Dragging the boys home for dinner!

The boys got the giggles!

A little after dinner sword fighting

Now he's iron man!

I think we are all worn out!

Westminster Christmas Spectacular

Thursday night at Caleb's preschool they had a Christmas Show where the kids sang songs for us. The 2 year olds wore elf hats and had bells while they sang jingle bells. I have heard encore's non-stop since Thursday!!! Its was totally adorable!

Caleb's "art" work that was for sale at the show. Of course as parents we felt obligated to purchase his, after all its for charity. Although I think we can all agree he is no Monet!

Proud Daddy

Thursday Caleb took special eggless cupcakes to school for all of his friends. Of course we had to finish them off at home. Apparently kids eat cupcakes by liking off all of the icing then taking one or two bites of the cake part. Had I known this I wouldn't have spent so much time on eggless cupcakes!!!
Grandma and Papa came to visit the weekend before Thanksgiving.
It was a fun time of playing and Christmas shopping. Of course Grandma and Papa also brought Caleb fun birthday gifts, just a few weeks early!

Caleb is getting pretty good at opening presents

Papa reading Caleb his bed time story

Worn out from all of the sword fighting, wrestling and running!

Caleb's First Karate Class!

Now that the big boy is almost three years old he is starting the kids karate class. They meet one day per week for thirty minutes. Its more entertaining for the parents than anything else. Sensei Troy teaches Caleb to avoid any confusion on daddy being the teacher.

Caleb is showing off his moves!

No idea what this is, but its cute!

Grandma and Papa got to enjoy the funny kids in class

Daddy fixing his belt for the first time, the boy looks good in a gi!

Happy Halloween

Caleb was spiderman for Halloween. We had a neighborhood party Saturday night with a bounce house. Luckily we have a nice flat yard the the bounce house ended up in the front yard!!!
Then Sunday we went trick-or-treating. After about 10 houses he was done walking. I wasn't going to argue!

Snow in South Carolina!!!!

It really did snow here!! This was many months ago...but these pictures are too cute not to share! Caleb was not very fond of the snow and how cold it was. He was ready to go back inside after just 10 minutes. I guess its a good thing we live in South Carolina!

Ew its cold!!!

Caleb is done! Can you tell by the face!

A Few Favorite Pictues from the spring

I've been a horrible mother and not sharing pictures of my little angel (most days). Here are some pictures from the spring!
